Jake Paul has been medically cleared to return to boxing nearly 10 months after breaking his jaw in a heavyweight bout against Anthony Joshua.

Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian announced the news Thursday on X.

Paul suffered a sixth-round knockout loss to former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua last December in Miami. The 29-year-old underwent surgery on his jaw the following day and then again in February.

Following the second procedure, Paul said he was targeting a return to the ring in late 2026 or early 2027. Then, in May, he said his career was in jeopardy before reversing course days later, revealing that a doctor had cleared him to spar within two or three months.

Paul posted a lengthy list of potential opponents on X, including Canelo Álvarez, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, and UFC star Conor McGregor.

UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland, who was also on Paul's latest wish list, expressed interest in a boxing match against "The Problem Child" earlier this week.
