The Phoenix Suns are signing guard Luke Kennard to a two-year deal worth $13 million, sources told Shams Charania of ESPN.
The second year of the contract contains a player option, Charania adds.
Kennard, 30, played a combined 78 games between the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers last season. He averaged 8.4 points and shot a league-best 47.8% on threes in 2025-26.
With Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic out injured to begin the playoffs, Kennard became a critical member of JJ Redick's postseason rotation. The nine-year vet averaged 36.2 minutes per game in the Lakers' first-round series against the Houston Rockets while starting in five of the six contests. After scoring a playoff-career-high 27 points in Game 1, he averaged 12.5 points to help the Lakers advance to the conference semifinals, where they were swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
