Five-star wide receiver Easton Royal flipped his commitment from Texas to Florida, he told Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.
Royal is the highest-ranked receiving recruit and the eighth overall prospect in the nation for 2027, per ESPN.
Royal initially committed to the Longhorns in November 2025.
The Gators' 2027 class now features two five-star recruits. In addition to Royal, Florida also landed offensive tackle Maxwell Hiller, who's No. 3 overall in ESPN's prospect ranking for his class.
