Minneapolis is expected to be awarded the 2028 NFL Draft, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Owners are likely to approve the decision at the league meeting this week in Florida.
This would be the first time the event has been held in Minneapolis. Minnesota has hosted two Super Bowls, most recently Super Bowl LII in 2018. A week after the 2026 draft, the Vikings posted on X that they were "ready" to be hosts.
We went to Pittsburgh to find out what it takes to host the @NFL Draft.

Pittsburgh, which hosted the 2026 event, set the all-time attendance record, with 805,000 people attending over three days. It surpassed the previous record set by Detroit in 2024 with 775,000 attendees.
Washington will host the 2027 NFL Draft at the National Mall in D.C. in April.
