The New York Giants and general manager Joe Schoen agreed to terms on a multi-year extension, the team announced Thursday.

The team opted to stick with Schoen following a 2025 campaign in which head coach Brian Daboll was fired with a 2-8 mark in his fourth season.

The Giants hired John Harbaugh as head coach in January. Unlike in previous years, the Giants' new coach will report directly to ownership rather than to Schoen.

Schoen was hired as GM before the 2022 season. New York owns a 22-45-1 record during the 46-year-old's tenure with the franchise. The Giants' lone playoff trip occurred in his first year at the helm.

Schoen has helped assemble an exciting core for the Giants. Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers, and Abdul Carter are part of a young nucleus that's poised to play a significant role in 2026.
