Odell Beckham Jr. gave an impassioned plea to make the New York Giants on Friday, with his comeback attempt now in the hands of decision-makers above him.

"It would mean everything," the 33-year-old wideout said after wrapping up his preseason against the New York Jets. "It would be my dream. This is where I started. There's no place I want to give my whole heart to more than anything else in the world. It's this place right here."

Beckham posted three receptions for 53 yards in Friday's exhibition finale. He also came inches away from corralling a Jameis Winston deep ball, and a slightly better throw could've sent him for a touchdown and spiked his yardage.

Head coach John Harbaugh wouldn't confirm Beckham's spot on the final roster but offered high praise for the veteran wideout's preseason production.

"Yes, he has done enough to make an NFL roster, for sure," Harbaugh said, per SNY Giants. "He's played well. He's gotten better as camp has gone along, and he deserves credit for that. He's done a really good job."

Beckham is looking to revive his career with the Giants, a decade after blossoming into a superstar in New York. His career has taken many twists and turns, including stints with the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens, and Miami Dolphins. Beckham didn't play at all last season.

The three-time Pro Bowler had only four receptions for 23 yards over the first two preseason games after entering training camp as a long shot to crack the roster. However, his chances went up earlier this week when fellow Giants receiver Calvin Austin suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice.

NFL teams must trim their active rosters to a maximum of 53 players by Sunday at 6 p.m. ET.
