Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is signing with the New York Jets' practice squad, sources told Tom Pelissero of The Ringer.
The Titans released Levis, the 33rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, in August during their final roster cuts. He spent three years in Tennessee but never cemented himself as the long-term starter. Levis went 5-16 across 21 starts in 2023 and 2024, throwing 21 touchdowns to 16 interceptions.
The Titans drafted Miami quarterback prospect Cam Ward with the No. 1 pick in 2025 and tabbed Levis as his backup. However, Levis missed the entire 2025 season due to a shoulder injury that required surgery.
New York is releasing journeyman quarterback Bailey Zappe to make room for Levis. The Jets' quarterback room is headlined by Geno Smith and also includes fourth-round rookie passer Cade Klubnik.
