Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin revealed an ambitious Minecraft city that took him 12 years to build.

Tomlin, one of the most respected coaches in NFL history, released a live YouTube video that peaked at 20,000 simultaneous viewers Wednesday. The 19-minute video showcases incredible attention to detail in the form of rooftops, penthouses, and urban living.

Tomlin, 54, revealed that his passion for Minecraft began as a way to connect with his kids. However, the Steelers legend continued to play the video game even after his kids grew up.

"At the time, I had no idea how big the city might get," Tomlin said in his YouTube video.

Tomlin first mentioned his Minecraft city publicly during a Sept. 8 interview on NBC. He's been serving as a Sunday Night Football studio analyst since parting ways with the Steelers after the 2025 season. Tomlin posted a magnificent 19-year stint with Pittsburgh that included a Super Bowl victory.

Mike's son, Dino, recently wrote on X that his father had requested to have his Minecraft city recorded and put on YouTube. Dino said that they would need to break the entire project down into sections. Tomlin confirmed Wednedsay that he'll share more videos of his online world.

Social media could not believe Tomlin's Minecraft mastery.
