The Kansas City Chiefs are very interested in reuniting with free-agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill when he's healthy enough to play, sources told The Athletic's Michael Silver.

The 32-year-old is believed to be targeting a November return, Silver added.

Hill suffered a gruesome leg injury in September 2025 while playing for the Miami Dolphins, which caused him to miss the remainder of the season. He tore multiple ligaments in his knee, including his ACL. The Dolphins released him in February.

Kansas City's interest in Hill follows Sunday's win over the Las Vegas Raiders, in which the Chiefs lost two receivers due to injury. Tyquan Thornton is reportedly out indefinitely after suffering a dislocated ankle. Rashee Rice tweaked his hamstring, head coach Andy Reid said, according to Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com.

The Chiefs have already reached out to Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, and were reportedly interested in adding him even before the injuries to Thornton and Rice.

Hill seemingly reacted to Thornton's injury on social media during Sunday's game.

Hill racked up four 1,000-yard seasons, earned three first-team All-Pro nods, and won a Super Bowl during his six years with the Chiefs. He was traded to the Dolphins in 2022 and racked up back-to-back campaigns of at least 1,700 receiving yards. He caught 21 passes for 265 yards in four games in 2025 before his injury.

Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones all told Silver they'd be in favor of bringing back Hill.
