The Pittsburgh Steelers got the last laugh on the field - and in the war of words - with the Cleveland Browns following their 27-6 victory Sunday at Acrisure Stadium.

Browns edge rusher Jared Verse fueled the flames between the AFC North rivals heading into the game, saying earlier this week that Cleveland was "about to make Pittsburgh ours."

Steelers safety Jaquan Brisker said postgame that he thinks Verse should've stayed quiet after he was held to just one tackle in the contest.

"He should have kept his mouth shut," Brisker said, according to Ashley Wenskoski of Pittsburgh Sports Tonight. "All that talk, and then to come out with zero tackles, that's bad."

Brisker added: "He's gotta look at himself in the mirror and get better."

However, Verse wasn't the only member of the Browns whom Brisker set his sights on. He also had choice words for Deshaun Watson after Brisker was flagged for roughing the passer due to a hit he landed on the quarterback in the first quarter.

"Babying the quarterback," Brisker said. "He's over there crying or whatever he's doing. It is what it is. ... He had his binky today."

Verse's issues with the Steelers date back to a Week 4 victory in October, when he accused Pittsburgh of playing dirty. Steelers veteran Cam Heyward promised this week that Verse's comments would be "addressed" in Sunday's game.

The Steelers improved to 6-2 and climbed to the top of the division with the win over the Browns.
