The Vancouver Canucks have fired head coach Adam Foote, the team announced Tuesday.
Assistant coaches Kevin Dean, Scott Young, and Brett McLean were also dismissed.
The Canucks posted a 25-49-8 record in Foote's lone season on the job, finishing last place in the NHL.
Foote previously worked as an assistant for the Canucks on Rick Tocchet's staff before being promoted to head coach in 2025.
The decision to fire Foote is the first major move made by the organization's new front office. Daniel and Henrik Sedin were named co-presidents Thursday, while Ryan Johnson was hired as general manager.
Vancouver's next head coach will be its fifth since the start of the 2021-22 campaign.
The Canucks hold the No. 3 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.
