Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb was taken to a hospital after being hit in the face by a slap shot in Thursday's Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final.
McNabb was struck up high on a Nikolaj Ehlers shot in the first period.

McNabb registered his first-ever three-assist outing in Game 1 of the series. He had one goal and seven points in 16 postseason contests entering Game 2.
The 35-year-old has averaged 20:53 in the playoffs, ranking fourth among Vegas defenders.
The Golden Knights hold a 1-0 series lead over the Carolina Hurricanes.
