The Philadelphia Flyers warmed up for Saturday's preseason clash against the Washington Capitals with tucked jerseys, after officials penalized Trevor Zegras for wearing his sweater in that fashion Thursday.

Zegras was assessed a two-minute minor for "improperly wearing equipment" midway through Thursday's contest. The forward has tucked his jersey for the majority of his career, and the bizarre infraction quickly became a hot topic online.

The NHL recently informed teams that players will be warned about jersey tucks and given a penalty if the issue isn't fixed. A second infraction after a warning results in a game misconduct.
Zegras confirmed after Thursday's incident that he was warned, but forgot to fix his jersey while on the bench.
Saturday's contest is Philadelphia's final exhibition game before starting the regular season against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sept. 30.
