Buffalo Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin is day-to-day with an upper-body injury sustained in Monday's win over the Florida Panthers, head coach Lindy Ruff announced.

Ruff added that Dahlin won't travel with the team for Tuesday's game against the Montreal Canadiens.

Dahlin appeared to be in discomfort after a shot attempt during the second period. He went for a change 11 seconds into a Sabres power play.

He didn't take another shift afterward.

Dahlin has notched a goal and two assists in six games this season. He was a Norris Trophy finalist in 2025-26 when he racked up a career-high 74 points.
