The Indiana Fever have fired general manager Amber Cox, the team announced Friday.
Cox joined the Fever in 2024 and had also served as the team's chief operating officer.
"Through her two seasons with the Fever, Amber has helped us navigate the seismic growth of both the WNBA and our franchise," Pacers Sports & Entertainment president and CEO Mel Raines said in a statement. "We're grateful for her contributions and wish her the very best moving forward."
The Fever made back-to-back playoff appearances during Cox's tenure, including a WNBA semifinal appearance in 2025.
Her notable moves include signing Aliyah Boston to a four-year contract extension worth $6.3 million as well as the signing of Sophie Cunningham.
Cox was COO of the Dallas Wings from 2022 until 2024 and vice president of sports for the Connecticut Sun from 2016 through 2021.
Indiana president of basketball operations Kelly Krauskopf stepped down from her role with the organization earlier Friday.
The Fever have a big offseason ahead with Kelsey Mitchell set to hit free agency and Caitlin Clark eligible for a contract extension.
