Braves' Sale ejected before game vs. Yankees

Atlanta Braves ace Chris Sale was tossed before Sunday's 2-1 win over the New York Yankees even began.

Sale was seen arguing with crew chief Dan Bellino leading up to first pitch after being ejected by umpire Dan Menzel.

Sale was called for a balk Saturday by Menzel, which resulted in a run scoring in the fifth inning of an eventual Yankees' 5-4 win. The former Cy Young winner and Braves manager Walt Weiss demonstratively voiced their displeasure. Weiss was eventually tossed for arguing the play.

"(Sale) had some words for the umpire from yesterday," Weiss said postgame Sunday, according to Larry Flesiher of The Associated Press. "Everyone had their say, and we moved on."
