Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams left Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury, the team announced.

Head coach Ben Johnson said postgame that the star quarterback is "in good spirits," according to The Ringer's Tom Pelissero.

The 24-year-old signal-caller will undergo imaging on his hamstring Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Williams was helped off the field and carted to the locker room. He didn't return and was replaced by Tyson Bagent, who completed 5 of 9 passes for 54 yards.

Williams sustained the injury while running toward the sideline. He fell to the ground without being touched.

The 2024 first overall pick completed 15 of 26 passes for 138 yards and an interception before exiting the game. Williams also rushed for 42 yards on five carries.

The USC product hasn't missed a game at the NFL level. He guided Chicago to an 11-6 record in 2025 and passed for 3,942 yards with 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
