An MRI confirmed Tuesday that Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin tore his patellar tendon and will miss the remainder of the season, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

McLaurin left Monday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers on a cart with an air cast on his left leg.

The two-time Pro Bowler has caught 15 passes for a team-high 230 receiving yards this season. He's also scored one touchdown.

The 31-year-old played every game from 2021-24 but has struggled to stay healthy over the past two campaigns. McLaurin was limited to 10 contests in 2025.

McLaurin's injury leaves Stefon Diggs, Dyami Brown, rookie Antonio Williams, and Treylon Burks as the Commanders' top wide receiver options.
