The setting for the first Game 6 in WNBA Finals history remains unclear, despite the contest tipping off in less than a week.

The Atlanta Dream will host Game 6 on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET against the Golden State Valkyries, but their home court for the Finals, State Farm Arena, is already booked for an NBA matchup between the Hawks and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Due to scheduling conflicts involving all four teams, the Dream may have to host Game 6 - where they'll either attempt to win the WNBA title or prevent the Valkyries from doing so - at the smaller Gateway Center Arena on Thursday, sources told ESPN's Alexa Philippou and Ramona Shelburne.

"There are problems with all the solutions," a source told ESPN.

The Dream played Games 3 and 4 at State Farm Arena, which seats over 17,000 people - nearly five times the approximate 3,500-seat capacity of the Dream's permanent home at Gateway Center Arena.

One alternative the WNBA reportedly approved was to push Game 6 to Friday and move Game 7, currently set for Oct. 31 in San Francisco, to Nov. 3.

However, the Valkyries expressed concerns about the teams having three days off between each of the remaining contests, sources told Philippou and Shelburne.

Golden State hosts Game 5 Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
